David O’Brien

David is an award-winning communications professional with more than two decades experience at board-room level in Ireland and the UK.

A Corporate, B2B and special projects B2C expert, his skills embrace a spectrum from Reputation and Issues management to media relations, narrative development and profile building. Former clients include McDonald’s, Heineken, Procter & Gamble, Currys / PC World and the UK National Lottery.

His advice is sought by business leaders and entrepreneurs looking for PR solutions which are pragmatic, workable and strategic. Unafraid to offer honest advice, he’s an ardent believer in working with clients in a fully collaborative way.

He worked at Edelman and Shandwick in the UK and formerly headed a PR practice at Saatchi London and ran the PR division of advertising agency McConnells before jointly founding Dynamics PR. After selling his stake, he founded and helms Relevant PR which offers StartUps, Corporates, Professional and Technology clients a new perspective to PR. It’s centred on offering bespoke PR solutions, great client services and embracing the opportunities and challenges of technology and new ways of consuming media.

His media training workshops are notable for putting people at ease, working with every level of capability to deliver fluent, articulate spokespeople who are confident and effective in a media environment.

David is a former board member of the Public Relations Consultants of Ireland and a current member of the National Union of Journalists and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.


Róisín Ní Mhórdha

Róisín is a PR, branding and marketing professional with over 20 years solid experience with speciality in strategic planning and event management gained in London, Germany, New York, Dublin and since 2013, Amsterdam.

With her consultancy, Impression PR she has created, developed and managed campaigns for some of the world’s most prestigious brands and brand builders, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Jameson Whiskey, European Space Agency, Procter & Gamble, BETC, and Rothco. She adopts a very proactive approach whilst having a depth of understanding for both the media and client businesses.
